DJI Care Refresh Service Protection
DJI Care Refresh offers service protection for your device, providing you with two replacements for damaged equipment within a year for a small additional fee. It covers damages resulting from collisions or water contact, among others. The damaged equipment will be replaced with a new or equivalent unit. DJI Care Refresh can be activated within 30 days of the device’s activation (first use). You also have the option to extend the protection by purchasing an additional annual plan (up to two times, for a total of 3 years). Furthermore, the official manufacturer’s warranty is valid during the service period.
DJI Zenmuse X7
For DJI Zenmuse series devices, the cost of the first replacement under DJI Care Refresh is 109 euros, and for the second – 169 euros.*
*In case of direct reporting to the manufacturer, the replacement cost may change based on the current exchange rate.
How to Activate DJI Care Refresh
1. Activate the code at: https://support.dji.com/care/active.
2. During the activation process, provide the Care Refresh code, device serial number (located directly on the product), and the activating person’s details (name, email address).
3. DJI Care Refresh service will be activated and automatically assigned to the appropriate region. You will receive a confirmation of DJI Care Refresh activation via email. Your equipment is now secure!
What to Do in Case of an Accident
1. The user reports a malfunction and sends the equipment to the German DJI service center with a note indicating the ownership of DJI Care Refresh service.
2. The user receives a repair estimate and decides whether to proceed with a paid repair/replacement or use DJI Care Refresh.
3. When choosing the DJI Care Refresh option, the user pays for the replacement and receives a different unit.
4. The replaced product is prioritized for delivery to the user with free shipping.
DJI Care Refresh Does Not Cover
1) Lost or partially lost equipment.
2) Stolen or abandoned products.
3) Additional accessories.
4) Deliberate loss of the product.
5) Casing damage that does not affect the product’s operation.
6) Direct or indirect damages caused by force majeure.
7) Defects occurring outside the DJI Care Refresh validity period.
8) Additional fees related to model upgrades or performance enhancements.
9) Defects resulting from modifications not compliant with the user manual’s recommendations or the use of incompatible batteries and chargers.
10) Defects arising from the use of unauthorized accessories, batteries, or software.
Possibility of Extension*
Users also have the option to extend protection for up to 3 years. To do this, simply purchase an additional annual plan.
- If you have a DJI Care Refresh annual plan, you can extend the protection twice by purchasing 2 additional annual plans: annual plan + annual plan + annual plan.
- If you have a 2-year plan, you can extend protection once by purchasing an additional annual plan: 2-year plan + annual plan.
Note: Extending protection through purchasing an additional 2-year plan is not possible.
Specific conditions must be met for protection extension:
- Purchase of DJI Care Refresh service in one of the following variants: DJI Care Refresh annual plan / DJI Care Refresh 2-year plan / DJI Care Refresh annual plan and DJI Care Refresh + / DJI Care Refresh annual plan and additional annual plan (renewal).
- The validity period of the purchased DJI Care Refresh service has not expired or has expired within 15 days.
